Foundation Repair in Fenwich Island, DE

A home in Fenwick Island, Delaware had a major problem. The foundation was actually cracking in a horizontal angle. If the problem was not solved by that day, everyone at DryZone was afraid that this home owner would no longer have a home. We immediately took precaution and action. We had installed Wall Anchors, which are used to form the house back up and keep it that way. What we do is we go about 12 ft away from the home and dig a hole, there we will place the Earth Anchor down after we place in the rod. The rod is placed in the ground outward after we drill a hole in the foundation wall we can then place the anchor itself and tighten it.

Cracked Foundation

This cracked foundation is clearly shown even outside of the home, as well as the inside. DryZone came out to repair the damages. The building was on settling soil and was breaking the building apart. Once we were there, we addressed the situation by putting fresh virgin soil around the home, then propped them up with anchors.

Talbot County, MD - complete wood replacement after severe bug and rot damage

The wood under this home was so bad that it was amazing someone hadn't fallen through the floor. Almost every single floor joist and girder was rotted or eaten by termites, completely gone in some cases. DryZone was hired to remove the old wood and replace it with fresh pieces. This process took almost two full weeks, as you can imagine it is not an easy task. The end result was a sturdy support system of new and dry wood. The homeowner expressed and interest in CleanSpace encapsulation as well, to prevent history from repeating.
