Stabilizing a home in Millsboro, DE

If you where having foundation problems which of these option would you prefer the wood blocks on a concrete pillar or the smart Jack? The wood is certainly not a long term solution as it can't handle the continued amount of stress nor can it be used to raise the floors to it's original location. Smart jack can do both of those thing with it's easily adjusted height and is ability to support up to 6,000 pounds.
