The home owner wanted their basement finished. Before DryZone could do anything, we had to place down new cement slabs. After that as you can see in the after photo, the wall is not the same. This is because the home owner wanted a new inorganic paneling which is resistant to mold then we had left the sides "open" in order to put in a drain, which hooked up to their sump pump.
Finishing a basement is a big problem. But, if the basement is not properly sealed or waterproofed, a finished basement can be quickly ruined by a water leak. DryZone installed a french drain around the perimeter of the basement with CleanSpace wall coverings to guide water downwards. When the water goes to the trench drain, it flows to the sump pump and gets pumped out of the home.
This SumpPump was no longer able to keep up with the water which was entering the basement so the homeowners called the experts here at DryZone to come out and replace it. The SumpPump we replaced it with is the TripleSafe which has multiple powerful pumps to move water out and away from your basement along with a reserve battery power.
This homeowner was having trouble with water getting into the crawlspace from the entrance. Due to the size of the opening and location of the doorway, a Turtl wouldn't fit. We decided on adding a new Bilco style door. It works great and the homeowner was quite happy with the result.
This basement was one of the family's favorite hangout spots. Once water found its way in, they thought they would never be able to enjoy their basement again. Luckily, DryZone uses products that stand the test of time. Our drywall replacement product is called EverLast Wall Restoration, and it will never get damaged by water. The ThermalDry floor tiles are stylish and functional. Unlike carpet they won't get moldy and smell bad. Even the trim and chair rail are waterproof. The family is ready to get back to using their favorite room again.
