Derek explained the issues caused by excessive moisture and presented the homeowner with long-term solutions designed to resolve the problem and prevent it from recurring.    The primary components of this crawlspace encapsulation project included CleanSpace, HydroLink, and a SmartSump system. CleanSpace is a heavy-duty 20-mil-thick liner made from a seven-layer blend of materials, including high-density polyethylene for puncture resistance, low-density polyethylene for flexibility, and polyester cord reinforcement for exceptional tear strength. HydroLink helps manage groundwater and moisture movement beneath the liner. The SmartSump is a specialized sump pump system designed specifically for crawlspaces, offering reliable protection from flooding and plumbing leaks.    Thanks to this comprehensive encapsulation system, the Bethan Beach homeowner can now move forward with confidence, knowing the crawlspace is properly protected.
