Millville, DE Concrete Lifting, Leveling, and Crawlspace Encapsulation
Larry had been in his home for a little over four years when he began noticing issues in the crawlspace, along with a section of his concrete sidewalk starting to sink. Wanting to address the crawlspace concerns and prevent the concrete from getting worse to the point of needing full replacement, he contacted the trusted experts at DryZone to schedule a free estimate. Our System Design Specialist, Joe, conducted a thorough inspection and reviewed his findings with the homeowner.
The major components of this crawlspace encapsulation included CleanSpace, DrainageMatting, and a SaniDry Sedona. DrainageMatting was installed to create a space beneath the liner for water to move freely, while CleanSpace helped seal off the crawlspace from the earth. To help control moisture and humidity, we installed a SaniDry Sedona, which can remove up to 100 pints of water per day and move more than 300 cubic feet of dry air per minute throughout the crawlspace or basement.
To address the sinking sidewalk, we used PolyLevel to permanently lift and stabilize the concrete slab. This high-density polyurethane formula is installed through small, penny-sized holes drilled into the slab. Once injected into the void beneath the concrete, the expanding polymer accurately lifts and levels the slab while providing long-term stabilization.
Thanks to these solutions, Larry can now have peace of mind knowing his crawlspace is better protected and his concrete is level, stabilized, and no longer a tripping hazard.
