A new Everlast Crawl Space door was the solution because it is made of thick plastic and designed to provide a secure, airtight seal to this homeowner's crawl space. Everlast doors fit snug in a crawl space entrance, sealing out the moisture and humidity.    

Crawl space doors are sometimes larger and still have the same problem as a smaller crawl space door, they LEAK and do not fit properly.  

A wonderful solution is the Everlast Crawl Space Door is available in sizes 2 1/2' x 4' and 4' x 5' sizes.  The door itself is made from 1/2" thick polypropylene plastic, which makes it durable and strong while keeping out the humidity and moisture.  

The first step of the transformation begins with the instillation of CleanSpace to prevent water moisture from the ground and the walls to enter the crawlspace. As a further insurance against moisture within the crawlspace we also sealed all the vents and installed the SaniDry. The SaniDry is a dehumidification system designed to eliminate dampness from the air by drying it out though unlike a conventional dehumidifier it has a hose so that it can empty itself.

This homeowner reached out to DryZone after finding microbial growth in their crawlspace. The production team installed CleanSpace, SaniDry Sedona, and blocked the vents from outside to lower the humidity in the crawlspace. 

This home in Lewes, Delaware only had a partial liner that was covering the crawlspace dirt. Exposed dirt can add a continuous stream of water vapor into a home. This home now has a full encapsulated crawlspace which creates a barrier between the ground and the floor joists.
