MaryAnn started noticing a musty smell inside her home and wanted to improve the condition of her crawlspace. After a thorough inspection, our System Design Specialist, Derek, found that the humidity level in the crawlspace was 70%, well above the recommended 55% benchmark. Excess moisture like this can create the perfect environment for microbial growth and can impact the air quality throughout the home.
To solve the problem, our team installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system. CleanSpace is a heavy-duty 20-mil liner, about the thickness of a pool liner, that is manufactured with seven layers of high-density polyethylene for puncture resistance, low-density polyethylene for flexibility, and polyester cord reinforcement for exceptional tear strength. This creates a durable moisture barrier that helps keep the crawlspace clean and dry.
To keep the humidity under control year-round, we also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The Sedona can remove up to 100 pints of moisture per day while circulating more than 300 cubic feet of dry air per minute throughout the crawlspace. Together, these systems provide MaryAnn with a healthier crawlspace and help protect her home's investment for years to come.
This homeowner in Ocean City, MD took the first step in protecting their investment by giving us a call! With our help, they are starting the encapsulation process by having us lay down drainage matting first until they are ready for the full encapsulation with CleanSpace liner, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and a TripleSafe sump pump.
A homeowner contacted the experts at DryZone because of worries about microbial growth and musty smells originating from their crawlspace. The DryZone experts took action by removing insulation and netting, then installed CleanSpace, SmartSump, HydroLink, and a SandiDry Sedona system. These measures ensure that the crawlspace stays free from microbial growth and moisture.
This homeowner contacted the experts at DryZone due to concerns about their crawlspace following a recent home purchase. DryZone installed CleanSpace to safeguard the crawlspace from humidity, condensation, insects, and to prevent cold floors, ultimately reducing heating costs.
Drainage problems were an issue whenever it rained at this homeowner's property. The crawl space door was old and leaked, letting in water to the crawl space.
