Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Harrington, DE, contacted DryZone because of concerns regarding high humidity levels in their crawlspace. To address these issues, the DryZone team installed CleanSpace along with a SaniDry Sedona system and removed the outdated batt insulation that was supported by rusty chicken wire. The SaniDry Sedona was put in place alongside CleanSpace to effectively maintain a dry environment in the crawlspace, helping to prevent microbial growth and potential structural damage.

Moisture in this crawl space was held in the brick foundation. After encapsulating this crawl space, groundwater is sealed out of the crawl space, keeping the area dry. 

Thin plastic in this crawl space allowed moisture to enter through the brick foundation. DryZone encapsulated this crawl space by wrapping CleanSpace high on the foundation, blocking out moisture from groundwater completely. 

One of our crews from DryZone set out to allow this basement to go through a metamorphosis. The first stage in doing this was the instillation of a smart pump to ensure that it won't flood and a ice guard to prevent the pipes being frozen and backing up during the winter. Then a layer of CleanSpace was installed as well as the vents where sealed shut in order to prevent outside moisture from getting in. Then a SaniDry was installed to dehumidify the air, this system is special because it allows for the homeowner to not have to worry about dumping it as it automatically empty's itself into the sump pump system
