Everlast Wall Panels: Not Just a Clever Name

Many of our prospective homeowners on Delmarva come to us with the same complaint. They tell us that their basement was finished with drywall many years ago but they never use it anymore. Once I take a walk down and take a deep breath, the reason becomes apparent. The smell that most people associate with “grandma’s Basement” comes from wet, moldy drywall.

The problem arises when you put anything organic in a damp space, like a basement. When things like drywall and carpet get wet, the organic components within them start to grow mold. This releases a smell and the basement becomes essentially unlivable.

With the Total Basement Finishing's EverLast Wall Panels and ThermalDry Flooring, this problem is not an issue at all. TBF uses all inorganic products that will not grow mold EVER. The TBF wall system not only looks great, but is incredible durable. We have several homeowners that say their kids are constantly banging into the walls with toys or writing on them. The Everlast wall system carries a huge warranty because it is what I like to call “kid proof.” When you see your new basement, you’ll see why we don’t use the term “refinishing,” with Total Basement Finishing your basement is going to be finished, period.
