Check Downspouts

Make sure that you downspouts are extend away from the home's foundation. This will insure that water will not seep back into your basement. Also make sure that they are clear so melted snow from your roof will be able to drain properly. DON'T have downspouts discharge on to sidewalks and walk ways. When it freezes it can cause a slipping hazard. As well ice freezing on your walkway can cause cracking and other major issues.
