The homeowner reached out to us because they were tired of dealing with their sagging and bouncy floors. Their biggest concern was not only the floors caving in, but eventually the collapse of the foundation/home. After inspecting the area above and beneath the floors, we recommended a permanent fix. The homeowner has used this home as a beach house and recently moved in permanently. They would like their crawlspace cleaned up and fully renovated so that it is protected from humidity, microbial growth and kept dry. We recommended that they fully encapsulate the crawlspace to keep the area protected for the foreseeable future. We also created an opening under the rear addition and built a foamax wall.
