The beautiful home in Tangier, Virginia only had one problem, their crawl space. They contacted DryZone in the hope of some help and a thorough inspection. Our DryZone team took a close look at the property and came up with an immediate solution to rescue the crawl space.  Years of moisture in the crawl space caused mold to grow and fiberglass insulation to fill up and fall. This is a common problem in crawl spaces and DryZone knew just how to fix this. The inspection took place in September, a month that typically has low humidity. As you can see from the photos, the insulation started to fall from the top of the crawl space and on to the floor because the insulation could not hold up any more moisture. DryZone came up with a solution to install SilverGlo insulation. The SilverGlo is a wonderful product to use in crawl spaces because it will keep the crawl space temperature the same as the inside of the home. Controlling the temperature in the crawl space helps control the moisture in the air, which ultimately keeps mold out of the clean crawl space area. The homeowners wanted to keep the crawl space dry ALL the time, which is why we decided to install the TripleSafe Sump Pump with a water watch alarm. This way the sump pump will keep water out of the crawlspace and will alert the homeowners if there is a water problem of any kind. After the debris was removed and the wall liner, TripleSafe sump pump, water drainage mats were installed the crawl space looked like a completely different space and the homeowners were more than pleased with their new clean space. 

This home in Tangier, VA had a mold issue in their crawl space that started to become a serious problem.
