Steel piers are mechanically advanced into the soil until they reach load-bearing strata. Luckily, the true fix came into play with DryZone and their trained concrete professionals. PolyLevel was used to riase these steps back to their original position. Within just 20 minutes, the PolyLevel had achieved 90% of its strenght and durability. This means that this homeowner was ready for guests in time for dinner!

Having a home to get away to on weekends can be a great investment. However, some homes come with a list of needed repairs once you own them. This homeowner and his spouse purchased this getaway beach house and quickly noticed sagging floors and high moisture. Looking underneath of the home quickly exposed wet hanging insulation, absorbing groundwater up to the floorboards. After prolonged exposure to moisture, microbial growth started to feed on wood and insulation and spread across the crawl space. To protect the investment of their getaway home, this homeowner called the crawl space and foundation experts at DryZone to reduce moisture and stabilize the foundation.  For the foundation to be properly repaired, the crawl space had to be dried out and encapsulated to prevent high moisture in the future. After encapsulating with a 20 mm reinforced vapor barrier, a dehumidifier was installed to keep moisture regulated in changing weather. Once the environment was controlled, the foundation could be stabilized with SmartJacks to keep the sagging floors strong and eventually lift them to their original height.
