Check for a License when doing business with a contractor

Don't let this happen to you  When looking for someone to fix your home’s foundation it is important to look in the right areas. So often I’ve heard “my buddy said he could fix this for me” or “I know a guy who can do this stuff.” There are many things in a home that a do it yourself-er can accomplish, but foundation repair is not one of those things. I am a self-proclaimed DIYer, so fixing a leaky pipe or squeaky door is no problem, but a sagging floor or cracked wall means its time to call a professional. Luckily, I know a guy.

When I first started at DryZone, they told me that foundation repair is the most serious thing I would be learning, and they were not joking. I’ve learned over the past few years that there is a right way to fix a foundation problem and there are many wrong ways. Always, always, always check to make sure your foundation contractor is licensed. Make sure they have done the repairs before, or at the very least have engineers and installers that have. Foundation Supportworks is a large, national company and DryZone is fortunate and proud to be the local dealer. The solutions offered through Foundation Supportworks have been proven to work over and over again and have been thoroughly tested by structural engineers.

So before that sagging floor, bowing wall, or cracked foundation becomes a problem that cannot be fixed, be sure to call the professionals at DryZone.

DryZone services the entire Delmarva Peninsula including Millington, Bear, Smyrna, Milford, and many more.
