This crawl space was in rough shape. Standing water caused a humidity issue that was impacting the home in several ways. The most obvious effect of the water and high humidity was the drooping and degraded insulation which had to be removed. Even more disturbing was the growth of mold along the floor joists. This humidity and mold growth can contribute to illness in the people who live in the home. Team DryZone came and removed the damaged insulation and floor debris. We also applied Mold-X to the floor joists which removed the stains from the previous mold growth and also helped prevent future mold growth. Clean Space with Drainage Matting and Clean Space Pier Wrap helped prevent underground water seepage. The final touch was a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier which will control humidity going forward. The result is a beautiful and safe crawl space and happy homeowners!
