This repeat homeowner in Berlin, MD reached out to the experts at DryZone due to concerns of their foundation settling and cracked walls in their home. To fix the issues with this homeowner's foundation the experts at DryZone installed the Patented Helical Pier System. Steel piers are screwed into the soil to appropriate depths and capacities. Then a steel foundation bracket is connected to the helical piers.

This crawlspace was experiencing high humidity, leading to condensation and microbial growth.

Heather was concerned about the possibility of her crawlspace flooding. Our System Design Specialist, Don, conducted a thorough inspection and reviewed the solutions available to help prevent flooding and control moisture in the crawlspace.

To protect the space, we installed HydroLink around the perimeter to direct any water that enters straight to the TripleSafe sump pump system. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona, which can remove up to 100 pints of moisture per day and move more than 300 cubic feet of dry air per minute. To complete the system, we installed CleanSpace, a thick liner similar to a pool liner. CleanSpace is manufactured with an antimicrobial additive called UltraFresh that is molded directly into the material.

With two inches of water last Spring finding its way into the crawl space, this property in Showell, Maryland needed to keep the basement dry.
