Challenge

Standing water on a concrete crawlspace floor and effervescence on a brick foundation caused microbial growth on floor joists.

Solution

The first step to removing moisture is isolating the crawlspace from outside air with CleanSpace. To further control the air, adding a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier pulls moisture from the air and deposits it into the TripleSafe sump pump. The sump pump removes the ground water and dehumidifier water from the crawlspace through a drainage pipe. Attached to the drainage pipe is an IceGuard that prevents ground water from freezing as it leaves the home.

CleanSpace covers the walls, floor, and piers completely to ensure the area is sealed off.

A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and TripleSafe sump pump are added to draw out humidity and ground water that may enter.

IceGuard protects drainage pipes from freezing and preventing water from leaving the crawlspace.
