Sump pumps are a must for any leaky or flooded basement, just make sure you get the right one.

Installed SuperSump in a wet basement  So often I’ve heard people ask why they can’t just drill holes in a 5 gallon bucket and throw a store bought pump in it to take care of the water problem in basement of crawlspace. You could do that, it’ll work; the only question I would have to ask is how long do you want it to work? It’s a lot like driving an old beat up car, it will still perform the basic functions of a car, but don’t tell me you aren’t constantly thinking of the day when it will finally drive its last mile. There are always many ways to do something, but usually only a couple ways to do it properly.

DryZone believes in doing things right from the start. This is why we use high quality pumps and drainage strategies. The fact is, its not just the sump pump that matters when trying to dry out a crawlspace of basement. If you put a race car engine in a go cart, does that make it a race car? So why would you get a high quality sump pump and throw it in a make shift sump hole? In any of our sump pump systems you will find things like a stand to keep the pump out of the sediment, an air tight lid to keep the humidity down, a short float switch to keep it from snagging on the container, and many others. I could go on all day about the advantages of our sump pump systems. The bottom line is that we have thought of everything that could go wrong and put something in place to prevent it from happening. What you are left with is a high quality, high efficiency sump pump system that completes any of our drainage systems.
